Saturday May 17, 7:30pm. Clwb Ifor Bach, 11 Womanby Street, Cardiff. CF10 1BR
Cardiff’s premiere Welsh language music venue is opening its doors in support of Christian Aid Week. Some of Wales’ leading music acts, including Gwyneth Glyn and Clinigol (Clinical) have agreed to perform at this special night.
Gwyneth Glyn is a popular folk singer and performed at the Cut the Carbon rally in Cardiff last year. She penned a song about climate change, ‘Gaea’n Gynnar’ (‘Winter’s Early) especially for the day.
Electro-pop band Clinigol are brothers Geraint and Christian Aid’s very own Aled Pickard. Bringing a new sound to the Welsh music scene, Clinigol aim to make you dance and have a good time!
With more artists yet to be confirmed, it promises to be a fantastic evening of live music that will also help raise money to support Christian Aid’s work.
