Whatever you do and however you do it, by being part of Christian Aid Week you can help people in poverty out of poverty.
You will join 200,000 others to raise more than £13 million for poor communities around the world to help them find ways to improve their lives and have a brighter future.
No matter how much you raise, your contribution will help make a big difference. So where to start?
Here are some useful tips:
1. Come up with an idea
What do you enjoy doing? What will inspire people? Where do you want to fundraise? How much time do you have to organise your event? These are all-important questions to ask yourself.
2. Planning is key
The best laid plans... are the ones that go well. Planning your event in advance allows you to get people involved and gives you time to let people know what you're doing.
3. Promote and enjoy
Why not use Facebook and Twitter to let people know about your fundraising activity? Remember, we've got posters and much more to help you advertise your event.
If you need advice and assistance you can always contact your local Christian Aid office or email us at events@christian-aid.org.
